The exhibition of the Festival 10 Sentidos 2020 will show, through the plastic arts and the new tools available to the newest artists, the world in which they live, but also that which they desire.
Inspired by this year’s slogan Soñadores, which coincides with the film of the same name by Bernardo Bertolucci (“The Dreamers”, 2003) which portrays the revolution of May in 1968 where student revolts were a trigger to question the order of the world, transforming ideas and values, even if the system could not be changed. This exhibition will showcase the work of a selection of artists who are students of different Master’s Degrees at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the UPV (Polytechnic University of Valencia).
Young people that studies Animation, Visual Arts and Multimedia, Photography, Illustration and Artistic Production who question in their work the heritage they have received, the same one they do not want to continue to pass on to future generations. Students who value their tools, such as knowledge and innovation.
The exhibition aims, through theoretical and formal approaches to the social, political, cultural, economic and environmental moment we are living, to be a speaker for the youth and their dreams. How they propose the nearest future.
