Elegia is a staging of physical theatre based on the idea of travelling. The travelling of an exiled person who runs away from a territory in war, from a conflict which has taken away his identity and tries to make him invisible.
Carme Teatre was born in 1993 in Valencia and is the resident company of the room Carme Teatre, being Aurelio Delgado the artistic manager since the beginning. In 2001 Raul Lago joined the company as a cultural manager and executive producer. His first staging was Leticia of Peter Shaffer, and until now he has produced 27 shows, showed in festivals as CENIT, FEST, Circuito Red Teatros Alternativos, Muestra de Teatro Español de autores contemporáneos de Alicante, Festival d’Estiu, Sagunt a Escena, Festival Internacional de Teatro Contemporáneo Lazarillo, etc.
