On the occasion of the anniversary of the birth of Pier Paolo Pasolini (1922-2022), the company Malala Producciones has decided to create a piece that tries to activate the memory of the poet, to bring the memory of that body to the 21st Century. The idea is to generate an experience where the public can reconstruct the memory of that body through poetry, dance and performance. And that each word of the poet symbolises a stone in his body, a tangible way of keeping that memory alive. We want the poet to be reborn among the ashes and that around him there is a group of strangers who can enter his most private part. This is the way we have found to remember the birth of a poet, the one who looked where no one dared to look.
Stage director, playwright and teacher. Graduated in Stage Direction and Dramaturgy from RESAD. He is artistic director of Malala Producciones, in 2020 he premieres Querido capricho, a monologue performed by Tomás Pozzi, in co-production with Centro Dramático Nacional. He has recently participated in the SGAE XI Laboratorio de Escritura Teatral with his project Demasiada piel. And it has also been selected in the ROAD consultancy programme of the Academia de las Artes Escénicas with a new project by the chilean author Nicolás Lange, whose premiere will take place in April 2024 at the Sala Mirador.
