Masterclass to professional dancers:
Gaga is a movement language developed by the Israeli choreographer Ohad Naharin, headmaster of the prestigious company of contemporary dance Batsheva with headquarters in Tel Aviv. Gaga teaches us to listen our body and to work with it in a way it is more versatile, sensitive, delicate, alert, strong, flexible, intelligent and effective possible. It helps us to identify our tendencies when we move and it gives us good tools to perform andto create movement. Gaga tunes us with our weaknesses andthe places which we have in desuse in our bodies. During the practices we will focus on the feeling without letting it to seduce us by the reflection on the mirror, experiencing the feeling of knowing where we are in each moment wihtout needing to see ourselves from the outside. We visit personal places that are beyond the boundaries o barriers that creates the comfort. We connect with the pleasure behind the effort, the passion to move, the madness, our animal instinct, the multidimensional movement and the power of explosion. The aim is to get conciousness of the infinite possibilities that our bodies offer when it is placed in a timeslot, open many doors and release our internal passages to turn into the highway and the driver of our own movement.
