The Festival 10 Sentidos is once again organising the 10 Sentidos Children’s Drawing Competition for its 2022 edition, together with Fundación Mainel, with the support of the Conselleria de Educació, and thanks to Obra Social “la Caixa”.
The aim of this call is to involve children in a Festival that has become a cultural reference in Valencia. Based on the slogan of this year’s edition, EL AMOR (LOVE), a programme will be organised that will once again invade the city during the month of May with the work of multidisciplinary artists at a national level, and in which a series of specific proposals will be aimed at children and young audiences.
In this direction, the 10 Sentidos Children’s Drawing Competition seeks to focus on the views of children, their ideas and their drawings about LOVE. Through this proposal, the aim is to establish a reflection that travels inside and outside the classroom, going through their imaginations and the imaginations of the older people who accompany them.
Because childhood is a time of learning, but it is also a time of social impositions, because LOVE becomes here an ideal place for plurality, for diversity, for adding layers of encounters and differences, without fear or prejudice. With this idea, all the drawings received will form part of the same exhibition which, once again this year, has the collaboration of the Fundación Mainel.
