Following the success of last year’s edition, FOCUS DAYS will be held once again with the aim of creating a space for transnational exchange and dialogue, bringing together a select group of internationally renowned programmers, artistic directors and cultural managers specialised in the dance and living arts to get to know first-hand the artistic proposals presented at the 10 Sentidos Festival and its local ecosystem.

Through a series of activities such as workshops, speed-meetings and presentation of community projects, national and international presenters will fully delve into the artistic environment and the social fabric of the Festival and the vibrant city of València fostering connections and meetings between the professional guests and the artists of the 12th edition of the Festival 10 Sentidos.

Moreover, they will be part of the jury of the already renowned Choreography Contest, and will grant the FOCUS DAYS Award, granting a mentorship to further accompany the artistic process of the company who receives it. On the other hand, the Focus Days group will also have the opportunity to attend the presentation of different community projects of this edition, which move between the artistic and the social, and which distinguish the 10 Sentidos program in a special way from its origins.

With this variety of participatory activities, among many others, the aim of these FOCUS DAYS is to continue strengthening a new approach in the organisation of professional meetings based on deepening connections from an affective perspective, establishing close international bridges and collaborations that continue to enrich our artistic and cultural fabric, and make it known beyond our borders.
