Once again, a number of bookshops in Valencia will be exhibiting a series of works related to the theme of this edition, “Bestias”, during the Festival 10 Sentidos.

In addition, this year there will be talks with the authors of some of the chosen titles. The writer will discuss with the audience about the role violence plays in their work and other issues related to it.

Bartleby, Miranfú, La Batisfera, Patagonia, Primado, Railowsky, Estudio 64, La Rossa and Dadá are the bookstores that have joined this edition.

Talks:

La Batisfera, May 8 at 7pm:

Iván de la Nuez and Álvaro de los Ángeles will talk about the book Teoría de la retaguardia: Cómo sobrevivir al arte contemporáneo (Y a casi todo lo demás)

Librería Dadá, May 9 at 7pm:

The neighborhood association of San Marcelino will present El barri que vam imaginar. Cartografia de la lluita veïnal a Sant Marcel·lí

Railowsky, May 10 at 7.30pm:

Vicente Garrido, teacher and writer, and Ana Jiménez, crime scene photographer, will talk about the book El Beso de Tosca (Ediciones B)

Miranfú, May 11 at 7pm:

Josep Boix will talk about his book Tras la última sombra roja

Librería Primado, May 13 at 7pm:

A reading club will be held around the topic: “La Bestia en la novela negra y criminal”. In this session, the book to be analized will be El asesino dentro de mí, by Jim Thompson

Librería Primado, May 16 at 7pm:

A reading club will be held around the topic: “La Bestia en el género de ciencia ficción”.
