Yoann Bourgeois is an internationally recognized artist who has always sought to decompartmentalize artistic approaches and spaces.

His singular research is embodied in physical devices amplifying phenomena, which allow him to invest extraordinarily varied spaces and to propose infinite variations. This constellation is a search for life, a permanent process of creation that he calls: Attempts to approach a point of suspension.

Inspired by Daft Punk’s “Touch”, Approach 18 is a spectacular little dance performed by Olivier Mathieu to the ghostly voice of Paul Williams.

Playing on the border of the living and the artificial, we have sought a disarticulated corporality that has given birth to a hybrid creature, floating between two realities, questioning our transhumanist race.
