An extract from Kiss me hard before you go, choreography by José Reches. A fluid and dynamic duet in which the dancers’ bodies journey into an existential reflection capable of moving and uncovering human vulnerability.
The relationships between the dancers oppose each other in a slow, dense and profound narration, a succession of swirling and dragging movements and gestures, which are also light and bold.
This choreography speaks to us of what keeps us attached to life, in constant questioning where the line between what is present and what needs to be let go of is.
BALETTO TEATRO DI TORINO
Founded by Loredana Furno in 1979, BTT has recently celebrated 40 years of ongoing activity and, since 2016, has been directed by Viola Scaglione. The company currently consists of 6 dancers with a background of important international experiences. Aside from its activities in Italy, specifically in Turin, where it is acknowledged as a stable production body – supported by the Italian Ministry of Culture (MiC), the Piemonte Region, and the City of Turin – BTT has carried out numerous tours abroad (Europe, USA, Cuba, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Egypt, Turkey, Taiwan, China, South Korea).
After the first historic 20 years and the ten-year collaboration with Matteo Levaggi, since 2014, BTT has broadened its artistic path and has opened itself to renowned national and international authors, each different in terms of style and identity, such as Itzik Galili, Antonello Tudisco, Marco de Alteriis, Yin Yue, Andrea Costanzo Martini, Ella Rothschild, Manfredi Perego, Laura Domingo Agüero, Jye-Hwei Lin, José Reches, Renata Sheppard, Matteo Marziano Graziano, Nicoletta Cabassi, Manfredi Perego, Silvia Gribaudi and Simona Bertozzi.
