Masterclass Linda Tarnovski

Espai la Granja

May 9th | 11:00h to 13:00h

Through a dynamic series of sequences and improvisational tasks, we dive into the fundamental principles of contemporary dance technique. Drawing inspiration from human and animal anatomy and their patterns of movement, we utilize various tools that give us a better understanding of our bodies and the motions we create. We will focus on the efficiency and functionality of movement, while also emphasizing playfulness. Improvisational tasks kick off with a concrete idea/thought on movement, leading us on personal journeys where we nurture our interest in movement and establish our own rules of play.

This workshop approaches dance with discipline yet maintains an exploratory nature. Each session finishes in an open impro-jam, offering you the chance to test ideas, revisit familiar territory, uncover the new, and foster a sense of playfulness.
